Both halves of the dial share the same matte silver-white finish. This is the only Aekvator finished in matt on both sides of the line, and the only dial in the 1000 series where the line divides two surfaces of a single finish. The contrast is therefore left entirely to the light.
Warmth arrives twice, both times in gold: across the four 24-hour figures, and in the word Automatic set below the logo. Everything else is held back. Twelve black hour numerals, black glossy hands, and no texture anywhere to catch the eye. Only the second hand breaks this restraint, in blue.
There is no date window. The Miyota 6T27 drives three hands and nothing else, and on a dial this quiet, an aperture would have been the loudest thing on it.
Polished 316L steel, 35 mm, the smaller of the two 1000 sizes, on padded black leather fitted with a quick-release pin.

Automatic movement
No battery. The watch is wound by the movement of your wrist and keeps running as long as you wear it. Every Aekvator uses a Miyota automatic calibre with 40 to 42 hours of reserve once you set it down.

Do you offer warranty on your products?
Your Jacob Jensen watch is covered by a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase.
This warranty applies only to watches purchased from an authorised Jacob Jensen retailer and becomes valid when the accompanying warranty card has been dated and fully and correctly completed by the authorised retailer. Please retain the warranty card and original proof of purchase, as both may be required when making a warranty claim.
