The dial is champagne gold, a colour used on no other Aekvator: satin in the upper half, fine horizontal brushing in the lower. A single colour that reads warm on one side of the line and cooler on the other.
The face is the special part, as none of it is gold. The hour numerals are black, while the 24-hour figures and the word Automatic are a shade darker than the dial.Against gold, that reads closer to newsprint than to jewellery, and it is what keeps the watch from tipping into decoration.
The gold is worked two ways. The case and bracelet are gold-plated and brushed, so they hold light rather than throw it back, while the polished gold second hand crosses them almost unseen, caught only by the shadow it lays on the dial. The hour and minute hands are black and glossy with a golden accent.
Like the 1001 it drives the 6T27: three hands, no date, nothing to interrupt the dial.
Beneath, the plating the case is steel, 35 mm, on a gold bracelet.

Automatic movement
No battery. The watch is wound by the movement of your wrist and keeps running as long as you wear it. Every Aekvator uses a Miyota automatic calibre with 40 to 42 hours of reserve once you set it down.

Do you offer warranty on your products?
Your Jacob Jensen watch is covered by a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase.
This warranty applies only to watches purchased from an authorised Jacob Jensen retailer and becomes valid when the accompanying warranty card has been dated and fully and correctly completed by the authorised retailer. Please retain the warranty card and original proof of purchase, as both may be required when making a warranty claim.
