Gold on gold. Brushed gold plating over the steel case, a bracelet that matches it link for link, and applied numerals in brushed gold standing on a silver-white satin dial.
Below the line, the surface is laser etched with a jacquard weave, the same pattern used on the 2005 and 2008 models, and the reason the lower half holds light differently from the upper half despite both being satin.
Two details refuse to join in. A polished gun-metal second hand, where gold would have been the obvious choice, and a date aperture bevelled in the same gunmetal. On a watch this warm they are the cool points, and they keep the gold from becoming the only thing you see. The hour and minute hands are gold and polished, Automatic is set in gold, and the logo stays black.
Within the 2000 series only this watch and the 2008 are built on a gold-plated case, and this is the one worn on a bracelet. 35 mm.

Automatic movement
No battery. The watch is wound by the movement of your wrist and keeps running as long as you wear it. Every Aekvator uses a Miyota automatic calibre with 40 to 42 hours of power reserve once you set it down.

Yes. Your Jacob Jensen watch is covered by a two-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, valid from the original date of purchase.
The warranty applies to watches bought at jacobjensen.com or from an authorised Jacob Jensen retailer, and becomes valid once the accompanying warranty card has been dated and fully completed. If you buy from an authorised retailer, they will complete the card for you. For jacobjensen.com orders, we complete it when your order is shipped.
Please keep the warranty card and your original proof of purchase, as both may be required when making a warranty claim.
